Making a Wooden Toy Train

Here is a good example of how easy it is to make wooden toys using simple paper templates and a few woodworking tools and skills. The key to this type of woodworking project is definitely in taking some time to design the template the way you want it and getting those templates printed out of some paper. After that it is simply a matter of paste, cut, smooth and assemble. OK, I might be making that sound a little simple, but provided you have some standard woodworking tools in your workshop and are used to cutting wood in curved and other shapes, you should find these sorts of projects fairly straightforward to accomplish. What is more, once completed you know these toys are going to be received with sheer delight by the children they were made for.
